Manchester’s China Town

Manchester’s Chinatown is one of the largest outside of China itself. Awash with restaurants, bars, clubs and herbal medicine stores, Manchester China town can be both extremely exciting and overwhelming…

Amidst the flurry of colours, bright lights and enticing food smells are some real gems. Yes the atmosphere is great, but picking the right restaurant is essential in getting the very best out of your Manchester’s China town experience…

The one restaurant putting its competitors to shame is the multi award-winning ‘Yang Sing’. The Yang Sing prides itself on being above the rest, serving both classical and innovative Cantonese cuisine in a friendly and stylish environment.

With awards to prove its position at the top, the Yang Sing has won City Life’s & Observer’s, ‘restaurant of the year’ award and owners Gerry & Harry Yeung have an MBE and OBE between them. But more importantly, the restaurant has a great reputation for good reason – don’t miss it!

After eating, an absolute must is the K2 karaoke nightclub right in the heart of Chinatown.

Opened fairly recently in 2010, K2 karaoke nightclub offers 31 private karaoke rooms, perfect for embarrassing yourself in the company of trusted friends! All booths are soundproof, have an intercom system and touch screen, are amazingly furnished and have a brilliant library of current & classic tunes. Table service is provided by your own personal waitress/waiter and you can order food and drinks up to the value of the room you have hired!

Even if karaoke isn’t your thing, the 15,000 square foot retro-neon style venue has a huge nightclub and several bars for your enjoyment that can’t fail to impress!

Whether it’s singing, dancing, eating, or all three at the same time, China Town is all about the fun…and who can say no to that?
